1.: After is written in CSS to add new content after the tag such as p:after{: "Add text"; Color: #f00;   Font-weight:bold; }

2.:: After is an element that is written in HTML after adding new content such as div::{content: "url (.. /img/1.jpg) "; Background-color: "#ff0";}

A single colon (:) syntax is supported for all browsers that support CSS3 double colon (::) syntax, but IE8 only supports single colons. It is recommended to use only a single colon for best browser support.

A double colon (::) is a new syntax that distinguishes a pseudo-element selector from a pseudo-element. If you do not need IE8 support, use a double colon (::).
