Instead, the browser itself is a glorified "dumb-read-only terminal" In many ways-you can easily browse information, but it's hard to edit, analyze, and replicate (in fact, all the work that a knowledge worker needs to do). "Personalization" means repeatedly entering the site, and constantly disclosing personal privacy to every website you visit. You have to adapt to technology, not technology in turn to meet your requirements.

When you use multiple PCs or portable devices at the same time, the problems mentioned above will multiply. To access online information, e-mail, offline data, and other data, you have to "struggle" with multiple user interfaces (sometimes conflicting), variable data entry ratings, and intermittent information synchronization (when you physically connect the device to the network via your computer). Online data is rendered in an imperfect, predetermined format that greatly reduces the availability of information. A stylized "personal information space" concept that fits your requirements is still a dream.

Web developers want to build, test, and publish attractive web sites, but there are few tools available. Many of them pay more attention to the visual appeal of the site than to practicality. There is no developer in a sustainable and efficient way to focus on the entire lifecycle of the software-from conception, development, and delivery to maintenance. There are no systems that allow developers to write programs for personal computers that can be applied to other devices at the same time.

Corporate users will have to face more challenges. The emergence of a plethora of small server groups reduces the single point of failure, thereby improving the reliability of the calculation overall, but also the management of the system becomes more and more complex. Performance testing, capacity planning, and operations management are challenging today's multi-tier, multi-functional Web sites. New e-business systems rarely have the ability to plan carefully how to work with existing business systems. New systems should allow your business partners and consumers to safely cross firewalls and efficiently do business with you, but similar systems are so difficult to design that many companies have to adopt expensive dual systems.

Has all the development come to an end? In fact, everyone believes that the network will always develop forward. But for this new development to really improve the capabilities of developers, businesses and consumers, people must have an advanced imagination. And Microsoft's job is to make bold assumptions about it and turn it into reality.
