1 minute trial of PowerShell 5.0 new feature PowerShellGet install Script Browser and Script Analyzer

 

The Microsoft PowerShell Product Group released the PowerShell 5.0 PowerShellGet feature last week. With IT, IT staff can easily search, install, and update the PowerShell Module. In this blog, I will demonstrate how to use PowerShellGet to install Microsoft ScriptBrowser and ScriptAnalyzer applications.

First, do you need to download and install the PowerShell 5.0 http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink? LinkId = 398175

After the installation is complete, start PowerShell ISE (Powershell_ise.exe) and type the following command in the PowerShell console.

Install-Module ScriptBrowser-Scope CurrentUser

After installation, you can run the following commands to run script browser and script analyzer:

Enable-ScriptBrowser

Enable-ScriptAnalyzer
