1/3 the Azure virtual machine runs Linux

At the DockerCon 2016 Conference held in Seattle, Mark Russinovich, chief technology officer of Microsoft Azure business, revealed some interesting data: about 1/3 of the company's Azure cloud service customers' virtual machines run Linux, the remaining 2/3 run Windows Server.

Russinovich said Windows Server will officially support the company's Container Service Azure Container Service (ACS) soon ).

In the past few years, Microsoft not only put an olive on Linux, but also added FreeBSD support for Azure.
