1. Overview

The process of designing a program that can be used by users of multiple cultures is globalization.

Globalization is also divided into two parts: internationalization and localization.

Internationalization is the process of designing programs to support users in multiple cultures.

Localization is the process of translating data, tags, help files, supporting documents, etc. into the current user's understanding.
