360 Compression FAQs

(1) How to add a comment to a compressed package?

When compressing a file, in the "You will create a compressed file" screen, click on the "Add Comment" button, you can enter a comment in the new pop-up window. Or, in the main software interface, after selecting a package, click the "Comment" button on the "Actions" menu in the menu bar to add comments to the existing compressed file.

Self-extracting file is a kind of compressed file, this kind of file can realize decompression operation without external software. With 360 compression, files can be compressed into EXE-formatted self-extracting files.

　　(3) Why does the RAR format not support the generation?

Because RAR is winrar private compression format, other compression software theory can not compress, write RAR file (the process of writing is actually the equivalent of re-compression). Therefore, 360 compression does not support the generation of RAR format, nor does it support renaming and deleting files within RAR files.
