Creative thinking: In 3D Studio Max's Third-party plug-in, Afterburn is a professional module for making flame smoke. But in fact, the particle system in 3Ds Max itself can be made to make a more ideal pyrotechnic effect. The fireworks in this example do not use any third-party plug-ins to produce the pyrotechnic effects of the "Divine Arrow" (The second F-type rocket, which carries God six).
Production steps:
1, the production of rockets
From the Internet can find the Long March second F-type rockets pictures, according to its side map with Photoshop to create a simple arrow considerate diagram, as shown in Figure 1;

Enter 3D Studio MAX, click Create/Graph/line, draw the side profile of the arrow body with reference to the arrow thoughtfulness figure, as shown in Figure 2;

Enter the Modify panel, add lathe (turning) command, rotate the line into an arrow, and the result is shown in Figure 3.

Add the arrow thoughtfulness diagram, the same as the production of booster and nozzle, the results shown in Figure 4;

2, the production of smoke
Click Create/geometry/particle system/Super jet, create a Super gun, command for "smoke"; the parameters are shown in Figure 5;

The parameters of the graph are only for reference, the different scene parameters are different, so it needs to be adjusted repeatedly to get more satisfactory results.
