6-06 Import and export of data

Import data:

Retrieving data from an external data source in SQL Sever,

Then insert the data into the SQL Sever table procedure.

Export Data:

The process of exporting the data in SQL Sever to the specified format.

Import data Note the actual item:

With the same order in which the data is inserted, with the primary foreign key relationship, the data in the primary table is imported before the data in the child table is imported.

Steps:

Click the database you want to manipulate, right-click the task, and then click Import Data.

Here you select the files to import.

Click Next directly.

Click Next.

Here you can choose which table you want to import the file into, and then click Next.

Change the options below to ignore and click Next.

Then the import was successful.
