A few steps to get your Recycle Bin icon status updated in time

A friend has responded to this question: do not know how the Recycle Bin, clear out the garbage file, the icon state is still full, or another situation clearly inside there is a garbage file, but the display empty when the icon, and at this time we just press F5 or right button select Refresh to update.

This happens mostly because of optimized changes to the desktop icons. This sticky behavior occurs after you click Restore Defaults to reset the desktop icon. We can solve this problem in the following ways:

Tip: In the Desktop Icon Settings window will display the Recycle Bin (full) and Recycle Bin (empty) icon, even if they are all correct, please do not use the following steps to do an icon corresponding operation.

1. In Windows7/vista, please right-click on the desktop space, select "Personalized".

2. Click Change Desktop icon in the upper-right corner of the window.

3. First select the Recycle Bin (full) icon, click the Change Icon button.

Then select an icon from the list that corresponds to the Recycle Bin (full), press the OK button to save the settings, and then exit the window.

Similarly, next, select the Recycle Bin (empty) icon, and then click Change Icon button. In the Change Icon window, select an icon that corresponds to the Recycle Bin (empty) and press OK to save it.

4. After you complete the two steps above, click OK to make the changes take effect.

As long as the above steps to deal with, it is generally possible to solve the problem.
