A requirement raised by the customer

This morning, the customer asked: Can I use wildcards in the query condition input?
Well, it is indeed a good demand. How can this problem be solved? Generally, I try to use the default values when performing a query. These default values are the most frequently used query condition values, so that the user does not need to set the conditions to query the desired results. In fact, it is "taking the customer as a fool". Now the customer has said: I need wildcards. This shows that customers are becoming more and more self-conscious. They are gradually getting rid of the limitations of what developers say and what they do.
