Years ago

From March last November to march December, I forgot the specific time and watched that the project was about to end. On seek, I saw that the intermediary who helped me find the job was recruiting Windows Embedded CE engineers, then he sent an email asking him about the situation. He immediately replied enthusiastically that this position is very suitable for me and asked me to give him his resume immediately.

At that time, I found a resume that had not been updated for a long time, added my current work experience, and deleted my previous work experience, since then, we have embarked on a long journey of finding a job.

 

Rejected for the first time

After rapid modification, the first resume was quickly sent to the intermediary, and he was also sent to the company immediately. After 3 or 5 days, the intermediary said that the company refused me and did not give me any interview opportunities. He said that the company required more than 10 years of Windows Embedded CE experience, although my work experience has almost reached 10 years, I have been doing Windows Embedded CE for only one to two years, far from meeting their requirements. This position is still being recruited, and no one has been found in the past year. After that, I found an intermediary who helped me find a new job and asked me if I had invested in this company and planned to sell it to me. However, the place had been corrupted by myself and I had to say no.

 

The first interview failed.

The first rejection did not affect the enthusiasm of the intermediary. He said that he was very confident in me. After all, I believe that I will be sold soon. It is a pity that an intermediary trusts me so much.

Soon, the intermediary recommended me to another company doing microscope image processing. They used Linux to develop embedded devices and use them. NET, although I have 6 years of Unix background development experience, but I have no experience in Linux embedded, so I have a very low chance of getting this job, but nothing to lose, I went to the interview. Just like two years ago, I knew nothing about Windows Embedded CE and Windows Mobile, and now I am a beginner. So if I get that opportunity, I can quickly go deep into other Embedded systems, such as Linux, this is a good opportunity.

I took a day off with the company and set foot in the interview. I took this Freeway for the first time and took the wrong Exit. Fortunately, I had a lot of time in advance and it was very early to arrive there. I had a rest for a while, start the interview again.

I was interviewed by a technical manager and a senior software engineer. I didn't talk very well at the beginning. After all, I haven't had an interview for a long time. Some very simple questions, for example, you may feel that the answer is not very good. Later, I started to talk about technical issues, mainly around TCP/IP communication,. NET Framework, and multi-thread communication. Then I talked about the project management process, requirement analysis, design process, and so on. I had to talk about it for two hours without knowing it. Then I asked them about their company's system and staff, and the interview was over. When I left, the senior engineer said "see you", but the technical manager said "bye. I knew the interview failed from the moment I stepped out of the door.

As expected, after two or three days, the intermediary said I am very sorry to tell you bala. they said technical speaking, you are the best candidate. but bala. as expected. Looking for a job requires comprehensive strength. For example, if I was not born to speak English, I could only get an offer if I had a lot better technology than others.

Later, the intermediary did not give up on me and continued to help me find a company that is working as a security system. I do not know which system the company's embedded devices use. It is estimated that the single-chip microcomputer is used, as a result, I was rejected. Since then, the intermediary also gave up on me, and it was really disappointing.
