The previous chapter describes the definition of enterprise and enterprise business model (EOM), briefly describes the seven main elements of enterprise business, and also raises various problems to be solved by EOM. Before that, we should further describe the origins of the seven major elements of enterprise operation, describe its role in enterprise operation, and then describe the objectivity and scientificity of the enterprise business model.
When we want to describe the concept of enterprise operation, we will face thousands of enterprise operation activities at once. How can we abstract these activities? How can we use these abstractions to meet the new situation of enterprise information construction? This is the main issue of our research.
When abstracting various business activities, we adhere to the following principles:

4. Advanced operating principles
5. informatization principles
The element principle is to grasp the main content of the enterprise's business activities. In the face of the phenomenon of enterprise operation in all walks of life, many of us have a feeling that the business activities are very different. What we see is a specific activity, a real thing. Different people have different perspectives on their websites, and the scope of business activities is different. Some see specific services, some see the enterprise architecture, and some see the edges and corners of enterprise activities. However, we are concerned about the main aspects of business activities. Without such aspects, our business activities may not be able to be carried out. For example, we abstract enterprise resources into elements of an enterprise because an enterprise cannot develop without resources. For the definition of enterprise resources, we will explain in detail in the next chapter. For example, we abstract employees of an enterprise into elements of an enterprise because employees are the subject of an enterprise and no employees even do not exist in the enterprise.
The principle of commonality is to abstract different business activities of different enterprises into commonalities. For example, we abstract enterprise products (services) into elements of an enterprise. Product (service) is a common place for every enterprise. No matter what the enterprise produces or what the enterprise provides, We can abstract it into enterprise products and services. For example, if a bank provides a deposit service and an automobile company produces a car, we can regard the deposit service and car as the product (service) of an enterprise ), one of the commonalities is that these products (services) should be provided to enterprise customers. We can say that no matter what enterprise requires to produce products and provide services, if this enterprise cannot provide products and services, this enterprise cannot be called an enterprise. (The enterprises that stop production are not considered, we only consider normal business)
The integrity principle requires that the elements of an enterprise cover all aspects of the enterprise's business activities, and there should be no omissions or elements beyond the elements. This requirement means that all the enterprise's business activities can find the answer in the elements. In this sense, the Enterprise Information System established through EOM can be used for all business activities of the enterprise. Rather than worrying about EOM, it is limited to a certain aspect of business activities.
The principle of advanced business philosophy is to consider advanced business philosophy when considering the elements of an enterprise. As we all know, enterprise operation is a historical process and has gone through different historical stages. In the underdeveloped period of commodity production, enterprise operation mainly takes into account how to maximize the production of its products, this kind of business philosophy is simply product-centric, because the products cannot be sold out. In the period of product production development, the competition for the same product is very fierce. enterprises start to strive for more customers to occupy the market. This business philosophy is simply customer-centric, to meet customer needs to carry out product production and services. In the future, as the market becomes more competitive, what kind of talents can we retain customers? This business philosophy is simply to say, focusing on employees and how to obtain the best talents, organize products and services based on talent capabilities to meet customer needs. When designing enterprise elements, we did not generalize employees and customers into enterprise resources. However, taking enterprise employees and customers as independent elements, we fully considered the advanced business philosophy, it is to consider the future development of China's enterprise business philosophy, that is, to consider that EOM can adapt to or promote the development of enterprise business philosophy.
The informatization principle is our starting point and destination point. If we design enterprise elements not for informationization, it will become meaningless. It may fall into the business philosophy, the economic position and role of the enterprise, and other topics irrelevant to enterprise informatization. When designing elements of an enterprise, we first think about whether these elements can be informatized and how they can be realized. If they cannot be informatized, they cannot be our elements. Of course, informatization of elements is not a simple task. Some enterprises such as Enterprise Resources and enterprise customers and employees are relatively easy to informationization, but such products (services) and Enterprise businesses are not that easy. But it is these difficult things that seem insurmountable that inspire us to fight and challenge ourselves.
