About the MySQL version

MySQL has many different forms, at least four different versions: MySQL standard, MySQL Max, MySQL pro, and MySQL Classic.

In addition to the license, MySQL Standard and MySQL pro are exactly the same.

MySQL standard is registered in the GNU Public License (GPL), while MySQL Pro is a commercially registered version of MySQL standard.

MySQL Max includes some cutting-edge and experimental features that are not recommended for use in production.

MySQL class is used only after obtaining a commercial license and lacks many important features. Such applications need to support key functions such as transaction and referential integrity (that is, foreign key) constraints.
