Add google.com.hk Search and open search suggestions in IE9

In the IE9 address bar automatically complete the Drop-down list, click the Add button in the lower-right corner.

Then look for Google search in the pop-up Internet Explorer Library add-ons Web site, and click "Click to Install" to add it.

In the Add Search Program dialog box that pops up, check the "set him as default search provider," and click the Add button. At this point we also found that the "Use this provider's search suggestions" option is grayed out. and add other search procedures, such as Baidu, SOSO, Sogou can be checked to select this option.

After the completion of the Add, we enter the search keyword in the IE9 address bar and confirm that the page appears is prompted to jump to google.com.hk search, not Google Direct search results page.

This occurs because the Google search page added to the Internet Explorer Library add-ons site is google.cn, and the current google.cn search service has shifted to google.com.hk.

You can try the following methods to resolve the problem:

1. Open Internet Explorer 9 to access the following address:

Http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/searchguide/zh-chs/default.mspx

2. Click on Google, in the pop-up dialog box, check "set him as the default search provider" and "Use this provider search suggestions", click Replace, if replace is not available, click Add. (This method also applies to IE8)
