The administrative protection measures for Internet copyright jointly formulated by the National Copyright Administration and the Ministry of Information Industry officially published today.
The Internet copyright administrative protection measures, which will be formally implemented on January 1, May 30, 200, stipulates that, in the case that the service content is not modified by the automatic service at the request of ordinary network users, for example, if the content or link infringement published by a netizen in a forum or message is disclosed, the network information service provider will be exempted from liability. If the copyright holder finds that the content transmitted on the internet infringes upon the copyright, he may send a notice to the network service provider. The service provider shall immediately terminate the link and delete the infringing content. Otherwise, the Ministry of Information Industry or telecommunications authorities at all levels may impose a fine of less than 30 thousand yuan on it.
