Sudo apt-get update
Sudo apt-get install ibus-gtk ibus-pinyin-db-open-phrase
2. Open the language support and select update. Then, it will download a series of related installation packages.
3. After the update, ibus will appear in the drop-down box of the keyboard input mode system column at the bottom of the language column. Select ibus
4. the iBus icon is displayed in the lower-right corner of the taskbar. After you click the left button, you can select Chinese-Pinyin. If you select preferences, you can perform other configurations. In the input method column, you can customize the activity input method and set the default input method.
Now you can enter Chinese characters.
