Step 2: Create a Windows System Instance

Here are only a few examples of new purchases. If you have a mirror, you can use a custom mirror to create an instance.

New Purchase instance operation steps:

Log on to the Cloud Server Management Console.

Enter account login. If it is not already registered, click Register for free .

Navigate to the Cloud server ECS > instance . Click to create an instance .

Select the way to pay: package year monthly or by volume pay . For the difference between the two methods of payment, see billing mode.

If you choose to pay by volume , make sure your account balance is at least 100 yuan . If no balance, please go to Recharge page recharge and then open.

Select a region. Sometimes called "nodes", refers to the geographic location where the instance is located. You can select geographies based on the geographic location of your users. The nearer the distance from the user, the less latency and the faster the download speed. For example, if your users are located in North China, you can choose Beijing .

　　Note :

-The intranet cannot be exchanged between different regions.

-The replacement area is not supported when the instance creation is complete.

-the number of available areas, instance series, storage type, instance price, and so on can vary from region to area. Please make a choice based on your business needs.

Select a network type. Currently, only certain geographies provide two types of networks.

-If you want to use classic networks, choose Classic Networks .

-If you need to use a proprietary network that is logically isolated, select a proprietary network .

Or select a security group. For information about security groups, see security groups.

Select instances, including instance series, I/O optimization instances, and instance specifications.

-Instance Series II is an upgraded version of instance system I that delivers higher performance and is recommended for use.

-Recommended Select I/O optimization, mounted to obtain full performance of SSD cloud disk.

-Select the instance specification according to your needs. For information on how to select the configuration of an instance, refer to Step 1: Configure Selection.

　　Note : If you are using a Windows system build station to deploy a WEB environment, be sure to select an instance specification of at least 2 GB or higher memory. 1 Kernel 1 GB instance spec cannot run MySQL.

Select network bandwidth. You can choose to press the fixed bandwidth or use the flow .

If you select 0 MB , the extranet IP is not assigned, and the instance will not be able to access the public network. If you choose to pay by volume and choose 0 MB of fixed bandwidth, you also do not assign an extranet IP and do not support 0 MB of bandwidth upgrades , so choose 0 MB of bandwidth carefully.

Select a mirror. For novice users, you can select a public image, include a genuine operating system, and then manually install the deployment software after the purchase is complete.

-Operating system License in public mirrors is not subject to any additional costs (excluding Hong Kong territory).

When choosing an operating system, be aware of the following:

-the system contains genuine activation, no extra charge (excluding Hong Kong territory).

-By default, a windows2003/2008 system allows up to 2 session remote connections. If you need more connections, please purchase the Remote Desktop Licensing (RD Licensing) service from Microsoft separately and at your own expense.

-Suitable for programs developed under Windows, such as. Net.

-support databases such as SQL Server (to be installed on your own).

-can be managed using Remote Desktop logon.

Select Storage. The system disk is required for installing the operating system. Depending on your business needs, you can choose to add up to 4 data disks , with a maximum of 2 TB per data disk.

　　Note : There are differences in the types of storage available in different geographies.

Sets the login password for the instance. Be sure to keep this password in mind.

Set the length and quantity of purchases.

Click the right price below the page to purchase immediately .

Confirm the order and pay.

After the instance is created, you will receive SMS and email notification informing you of your instance name, public network IP address, intranet IP address, and so on. You can use this information to log in and manage instances.

Many important information is received through the binding of mobile phone text messages, and important operations (such as restart, stop, etc.) require the phone to receive the authentication code, so be sure to keep the binding mobile communication smooth.
