After using USER1 and other users to log on to Oracle, create a view and prompt ldquo; the permission is insufficient. How can this problem be solved? This is because the account USER1 does not currently create a view.

Problem:

After using USER1 and other users to log on to Oracle, create a view and prompt "insufficient Permissions". How can this problem be solved?

This is because the account USER1 currently has no permission to create a view.

Solution:

First, log on with the system account

Then execute:

Grant create any view to USER1

Prompt: Authorization successful.

Log on to USER1 to create a view.

If the problem persists:

Even

Grant dba to USER1;

Grant dba to USER2;

This error may also be reported. You can create a view using the following method:

If the view statement contains a table in USER2 when USER1 creates a view, you must grant the created permission to USER1 in the session window logged on to user2.

If the view statement contains a table in USER1 when USER2 creates a view, you must grant the created permission to user2.

Appendix: if the above method cannot solve your problem, try the following method. Record it. Easy to remember:

Description:

Same Database: DB1

Two Custom Users: USER1 and USER2

Create a view in USER1 and try to include the table in user2. The system prompts "insufficient Permissions"

Run the following SQL statement to modify and use the statement as needed:

-- Authorize USER1

Grant create any table to USER1;
Grant select any table to USER1;
Grant comment any table to USER1;
Grant lock any table to USER1;
Grant select any dictionary to USER1;

-- Authorize USER2

Grant create any table to USER2;
Grant select any table to USER2;
Grant comment any table to USER2;
Grant lock any table to USER2;
Grant select any dictionary to USER2;
