Basic concepts: screen resolution, screen size, screen density

screen Resolution: The number of pixels on a horizontal portrait, generally vertical pixels * transverse pixels, such as 1920*1080

Screen pixel density: pixel points per inch

The screen pixel density is related to screen size and screen resolution, and is calculated as follows:

Nexus 5

Screen:4.95inch

resolution 1920*1080

screen pixel density DPI = Diagonal pixel / screen size = √(1920^2+1080^2)/4.95 = 445

Different pixel densities:

MDPI 120~160

HDPI 160~240

XHDPI 240~320

XXHDPI 320~480

XXXHDPI 480~640
