Android AppCompat Record

Using Eclipse to create an Android project, Project Appcompat_v7, which occurs after ADT has been upgraded to the 22.6.x version and does not exist before the 22.3.x version. This item is designed to implement backwards compatibility with the SDK functionality.

Right click on the item, properties->android right

Create an Android project, select the Android version number, choose the minimum version number is less than the version number at compile time, you need to consider version compatibility issues, the created project will produce the Appcompat_v7 class library.

When choosing a version number that is consistent with the compiled version number does not produce appcpmpat_v7, it is not recommended that Android developers need to consider compatibility with multiple versions.
