The properties of these two layouts are particularly confusing.

Gravity This property actually specifies the alignment or offset of the content "or subclass control" under the current layout. The equivalent of a parent div is set with a align property of left. elements that have no special specified style on the inside will stand on the right.

Layout_gravity is actually the alignment or offset of the view that sets the property relative to the " parent View"
