Android--EditText method

1. Select the content you want

Final EditText myedittext= (EditText) Findviewbyid (R.ID.EDITTEXT1);    // edit Box Object  Myedittext.settext ("Hello edittext!");                        // setting display content   Myedittext.setselection (0,5);                                // set the content you want to select

2. Default prompt message (disappears when user enters data)

        Myedittext.sethint ("Please enter string:");                        // Set prompt content

3. Get the keycode of your input
