I don't want everyone to be interested in my app revenue, because even the best apps can't do without the promotion. The app of grassroots developers needs to wait for the test of the market. If there is no promotion, chances of success will be slim.

I. promotion goals: download volume or impression?

When I first started writing an app, I never thought about how to promote it, or I thought that I could just upload it to the app store. This was what most grassroots developers could do! The results are cruel. There are always some apps of the same kind that can take the lead. The number of users who rely on such promotions is simply destroying their confidence (a little too much ).

I asked a few promotion friends who told me the truth at the beginning: the impression determines the download volume! That is to say, there may be 10 downloads in one app store, 25 downloads in two app stores, and 50 downloads in three app stores, the premise is that the downloads of each app store are consistent.

The principle is very simple. A user who sees your app in the app store probably doesn't like it very much. He may download it from another app store. After reading it again, he finds that the function is not good, then you become your user.

This is the role of exposure, especially the previous centralized exposure, so that users can see your app name for so long. Do you think it is cool or cool?

There are no other channels that can be exposed: app stores/download sites, player forums, and QQ groups. Of course, you can make heavy ads at any cost.

2. App Store/download site: Pay attention to release time and description

First of all, let's talk about which app stores/download sites have better results. It is estimated that everyone is very concerned about this. I ranked my app promotion results as follows:

1. anzhi market: the initial download volume was very good and the review was very fast. It was also my first release.

2. Android Market: there will be fewer users than downloads, the conversion rate is not safe and high, and the review speed is good.

3. flink market: Fast review speed.

4. Application volume: the download volume is similar to that in the Apsara stack market.

5. Download Sohu: Good. It takes a long time to apply.

6.3g portal download: A good download volume at the beginning.

7. Wooden ant store: Very stable but not high.

8.91 MALL: Generally, it is estimated that there are too many competing apps.

9. Android stars: general, but convenient in the background.

After you know the ranking, you need to pay attention to the release time. Not all apps are suitable for release on Friday, because there will be many quality apps updated that day, therefore, it is generally best for grassroots developers to choose 3 or 4 weeks for updates.

But if you think your app is powerful, you can try to release it on Friday, and the effect may be better.

The description is not as important as the icon, but it can stimulate users to download it after the icon, such as the subtitle description (not all sites have it ), you can exaggerate your functions (how to boast your own ideas ).

The first sentence in the text is very important. For example, you can say that there are already hundreds of thousands of users using an app or an app that is required every night. This is very suitable for stimulating users, and it is also time-tested!

If it is nice, you don't need to spend too much time.

3. Amazing Forum promotion

Sometimes a very common post will also be scored by many people, and thus become a hot post, in fact, can advocate others' scoring, if no score, I wouldn't have read that post myself!

It is very easy to encourage others to score. if you add a few words near the APK package to make others score, the most common is: The reply will not get pregnant, score oh dear! There are definitely some people to download, so there is usually a rating, and the app itself depends on how much it is.

You don't have to pay too much attention to the posting format. You only need to make it concise. For the rest, let's talk about the forums that I think are more reliable.
