Cause

Glide dependent support libraries are different from the supported library versions that the project relies on

Solutions

Currently glide relies on support library version 27,glide to use the same version of the support library as the project.
Set in the Build.gradle file

android {    compileSdkVersion 27}dependencies {    implementation ‘com.android.support:appcompat-v7:27.0.2‘}
