Android Recyclerview Set Item spacing

Recyclerview There are no properties to directly set the spacing, but you can use itemdecoration to decorate an item, so the inheritance overrides the itemdecoration to achieve the spacing.

public class Spaceitemdecoration extends recyclerview.itemdecoration{            private int space;            public spaceitemdecoration (int space) {              this.space = space;          }            @Override public          void Getitemoffsets (Rect outrect, view view, Recyclerview parent, recyclerview.state state) {                if (parent.getchildposition (view)! = 0)                  outrect.top = space;          }      }

Then where to use the Recyclerview:

int spacinginpixels = Getresources (). Getdimensionpixelsize (R.dimen.space); Mrecyclerview.additemdecoration (New Spaceitemdecoration (spacinginpixels));

Adapter fill, and look at item there's a gap.
