Reason: Layout weights require a widget to be measured twice. When a linearlayout with Non-zero weights was nested inside another linearlayout with Non-zero weights and then the number of measurements increase exponentially. nesting weights (Nested Weights), weights are calculated two times, and when changed, they are changed proportionally.
Workaround: use relativelayout or GridLayout instead of LinearLayout.
