Here's a series of animated GIF tutorials that describes the table actions in Word, and today we animate the table positioning in a Word document.
In a Word document, we can specify the position of the table in the page.
Steps:
1. Place the insertion point in the table.
2. "Table" → "Table properties", in the Table tab, select the "Text wrapping" "Surround", the right of the original prohibited "positioning ..." button is activated.
3. Click the "Locate ..." button to open the Table Positioning dialog box.
4. Set the horizontal position: Select a reference item in the relative to combo box, select the horizontal position you want to position the table in the Position combo box, or enter the exact value in the combo box with units (in inches, centimeters, millimeters, pounds, or 12-point type).
5. Set Vertical position: Select a reference item in the relative to combo box, select the vertical position you want to position the table in the Position combo box, or enter the exact value in the combo box with the unit.
6. When you want text wrapping tables, you can set the top and bottom of the table and the body from the body.
7. Determine the exit in turn.
Note: If you simply position the table on the page's "left", "medium, right horizontal position, you can select a type of text wrapping, and then select one of the align Left, center, and right alignment in the alignment mode.
