AP is not registered on the wlc

 

An AP is not registered with the wlc. After half a day, I used a command to find out the cause.

Debug lwapp events enable

 

Found

* Mar 1 00:51:04. 203: lwapp_client_event: spamsenddiscoveryrequest: sending discovery Type 0 to handle 255.255.255
* Mar 1 00g: 51: 04.206: lwapp_client_event: spamdecodediscoveryreply-ignore discovery response: Version 4.2.176.0 is not supported.

 

First, the AP sends a packet to find the wlc, And the wlc also receives the packet. However, it is ignored by the AP. The reason is that the version is not supported.

 

There was another problem before, from apping wlc, but from wlcpingap IP address.

It was later found that the IP address of the AP conflicts with other people. Wlcping is not an AP, but something else. (ARP points)
