Arcims9.2 + Web ADF for the Microsoft. NET Framework installation Configuration

The installation environment is as follows:

Installation steps:

Part 1 install ArcIMS 9.2

1: Install IIS 5.1 On the system disc (You can also download the iis5.1 file to install IIS. When installing IIS, cancel the "Internet game" option in the attachment; otherwise, the installation may fail)

2: Install jre1.6.0 _ 01 and configure environment variables.

A> Add c: \ Program Files \ Java \ jdk1.6.0 _ 13 \ bin at the beginning of the system variable path;

B> added the classpath system variable with the value:.; C: \ Program Files \ Java \ jdk1.6.0 _ 13 \ Lib;

3: Install I: \ ServletExec \ servletexec_isapi_50013.exe (in the ServletExec folder under the ArcIMS disc)

4: restart the IIS service (Control Panel-Service)

5: Check whether the ServletExec is successfully installed: Enter the following URL in the browser to open it.Http: // localhost/servlet/testservlet

6. Install ArcIMS and record the change settings parameter backup.

Working directory: C: \ arcIMS

Web Server Host Name: 192.168.6.24

Protocol: HTTP

Application Server Host Name: 192.168.6.24

Registry port: 5353

Connection port: 5300

System domain \ User name: 2eb8be80701e49e \ Administrator

Password: 113

7. Select IIS and Servlet exec 5.0 as the Web server-servlet engine.

8: Create a manager folder in the installation location of ArcIMS

9: create a virtual directory manager in IIS and point to the created manager folder, which is

C: \ Program Files \ ArcGIS \ ArcIMS \ Manager

10: select the ServletExec ISAPI folder in the installation directory, and choose tools> folder option> View> remove the check mark before sharing with simple files.

11: ServletExec ISAPI folder, right-click "properties"> "security"> "add IUSR _ yourcomputername account", select this account, select "Write Permission", and click "OK ".

12: Configure ServletExec. UseHttp: // localhost/ServletExec/adminEnter servlet admin, select classpath, and add

C: \ Program Files \ New Atlanta \ ServletExec ISAPI \ Lib \ jaxp-api.jar

Click submmit

13: restart IIS

14. Test whether ArcIMS is successfully installed. Choose Start> ArcGIS-ArcIMS-diagnostics.

Enter the host name and port, and click 1, 2.

 

Part 2 install the ArcIMS web ADF for the Microsoft. NET Framework

1. Install VS 2005

2. Install WAF for the Microsoft. net Framework (if you have installed other ArcGIS products of version 9.2, the installation location is the same. If you have installed a lower version of ArcGIS product, You Need To uninstall it first !)
