Two connection modes of ArcSDE FavoritesThe two connection modes of ArcSDE are estimated to be the client-side load connection mode and the server-side load connection mode. I. server load connections (the most common connection method for sde services is required ):Server: the name of the SDE Server. Service: the port selected when SDE is installed. The default value is 5151 or esri_sde Database: determines whether to fill in according to different DBMS. You do not need to fill in oracle series, but SQL server needs to fill in. UserName: do not explain it, haha. Password: do not explain it. Ii. Client Load connection (sde service is not required ):Server Name: not required. Service: SDE: database type. For example, if it is oracle9i, SDE: oracle9i; if it is sqlserver, sde: sqlserver: Machine name "SQL Instance name Database (Database): determines whether to fill in according to different DBMS. You do not need to fill in oracle series, but SQL server needs to fill in. UserName: required. Password: password @ service name. For example, pwd @ acf. This setting is very important. Do not make a mistake. (Sqlserver does not need to write service names)
