ASP.net Debug Series III: Crash debugging

The first two days translated the Tess Debug series of Hang debugging, and today continue to see Tess's third article, Crash debugging. 1. Recurring problems

1) Browse to Http://localhost/BuggyBits/Reviews.aspx page.

2 Click the Refresh button and it will make the W3wp.exe program crash (IIS 5 is aspnet_wp.exe). Note that if you have Visual Studio, the Just-in-time message will pop up and you can click the No button and we don't need to debug it in real time.

2. Check System log

Open the log (you can enter eventvwr.exe on the command line). Logs may differ for different versions of systems and IIS. In the system log, we can see this message:
