Asp.net Excel error caused by dcom permission problems

1. symptom:

L view the windows Log tool and you will find the following error:

The Local activation permission for grant the user nt authority "network service sid (S-1-5-20 ). You can use the component service management tool to modify this security permission.

1. solution:

L open dcomcnfg. msc Configuration tool and select DCOM Configuration

L select Microsoft Excel Application

L click Configure startup and activation permissions, access permissions, configure the custom selection box for permissions, add the network service users (assuming the server is win2003) respectively, and grant them the highest Permissions
