XP shuts down and restarts automatically?
Recently, every time I use the computer shutdown, it does not turn off on the contrary, but I shut down when it is clear that the shutdown is not a reboot, what's going on AH?
Let it shut down and reboot.
This failure is the most likely failure of the Windows XP operating system shutdown failure. The cause of this failure may be the following reasons:
1. System settings in the chaos
Windows XP automatically restarts when an error occurs on the system, so that when the user shuts down, the computer restarts when a system error occurs during shutdown. Turning this feature off often solves the problem of automatic restart.
Right-click on "My Computer" on the desktop, select Properties from the pop-up right-click menu, pop up the System Properties window, click the Advanced tab, and tap the "Settings" button in the "Startup and Recovery" section to eject the Startup and Recovery window, as shown in Figure 1. In the System failure section, remove the check box before the automatic restart option, and click OK.
2. Advanced power Management in the tricks
As we all know, shutdown is closely related to power management, the cause of shutdown failure is likely to be the power management of the system to support poor results.
Click on "start → settings → control Panel → performance and maintenance → power options", in the pop-up window, enable or cancel the "Advanced Power support" as needed.  If you are using "Advanced Power Support" in the event of a failure, try to cancel it, and if the failure occurs, you are using the "Advanced Power support" to try to enable it, the fault will often be solved. 3.USB Equipment Not worry
USB device is now a big line of its way, what U disk, mouse, keyboard, modem and so on, everything. These USB devices are often blamed for shutting down the machine. When the shutdown becomes a reboot failure, if you have a USB device on your computer, unplug it and try again, if you're sure it's a USB device failure, it's best to replace the device, or connect an external USB hub to the USB hub, Instead of connecting directly to the USB connector on the motherboard.
