Automatic mounting of autofs Software Package (6)

Automounter automatically mounts autofs packages

Purpose: automatically mount access partitions.
Master configuration file:/etc/auto. master. format:
Mount directory ing file Parameters
Example:/MISC/etc/auto. Misc -- timeout = 60
Ing file/etc/auto. Misc format:
Keyword mount option device
Example: CD-fstype = iso9660, RO:/dev/CDROM (local)
FD-fstype = Auto:/dev/fd0
Restart the autofs service: # service autofs restart
Method to access the device: Mount directory + keywords
Example: ls/MISC/CD
[Root @ server root] # rpm-QL autofs | more
/Etc/auto. Master
/Etc/auto. Misc
/Etc/rc. d/init. d/autofs
/Misc
/Usr/lib/autofs
/Usr/lib/autofs-LDAP-auto-Master
/Usr/lib/autofs/lookup_file.so
.....

Modify the following two configuration files:
1. [root @ server root] # vi/etc/auto. Master

2. [root @ server root] # vi/etc/auto. Misc
Win-fstype = smbfs, username = RedHat % RedHat: // win2003/d

View logs: [root @ server root] # tail/var/log/message
