1. Open an excel worksheet and select the cells that can be edited, as shown in the following figure,

2. Click Tools & rarr; Protection & rarr; allow users to edit area on the excel menu bar, as shown in the following figure.

3. In the displayed "allow users to edit" dialog box, click "permissions", as shown in the following figure.

4. Click the Add button in the red box below in the region permission dialog box,

5. Now we can set the users on the computer to be able to edit the users allowed in the select user or group dialog box,

6. Click OK to exit all the dialog boxes.
