Because Windows itself does not contain an SSH client, it is always a problem for me to use SSH comfortably in windows. Many methods have been used, including installing Linux virtual machines and putty, but they are not ideal. Linux virtual machines occupy more than 200 MB of memory and are slow to start. Putty's keyboard layout is a European keyboard, and their right Alt key is altgr. This disadvantage makes it impossible to use right ALT in Emacs to forward and backward words.
The network is very large and there are many good things. The key is whether to find them. After exploration, we found that a cgywin slim version of OpenSSH for Windows only includes ssh-related tools: SSH, SCP, and sftp server/Client versions. Download the package immediately. You can choose to install only the server or client components during the installation process. After testing, I feel that it is amazing,ProgramQuick startup and convenient command usage. See the following:
Directory after installation
View the Server Directory through SSH
Use Emacs on the server,
Use SCP to copy and encrypt files.
Disadvantages:
1. Because the local operating system is Chinese, garbled characters may appear when some remote characters are displayed.
2. When region replication is defined in Emacs, the actual start point and definition deviation of the region to be copied exist.
The above two problems also exist when Putty is used. It is possible to reset the codePage in the console window to solve the problem. (Note: Garbled characters can be solved through: Export lang = POSIX, because the high ASCII code used by the server cannot be processed locally, or the local font can be modified to support high ASCII code in the distance)
