BooxViewer? PDG reader-general Linux technology-Linux technology and application information. For more information, see. Today, I remembered that the review in my email had not been viewed. So I opened it and checked it and found that there were a lot of pdg-format e-books. To be honest, I am not happy with the e-book in the Super Star format. I feel very annoyed, the quality is poor, and it is still paging. One page is annoying, pdf is still quite comfortable, and I used to feel uncomfortable when using the official pdg reader, so I have basically not seen any ebook in The pdg format.

I was dumb at the time. pdg is so annoying in windows. In linux, I want to check that pdg is not even more depressing. Cocobear's blog also published an article about PDG. I searched the internet and found that most of the methods for viewing pdg under linux are implemented through converting pdg to pdf. Virtual printing and conversion, as well as software conversion, are troublesome in general, and virtual printing and conversion seems to have to be done manually and cannot be performed in batches; however, the speed of converting a lot of software through software is very slow, and the quality of the transfer is also a problem. Originally, I thought the pdg screen quality was very poor and I don't know what it would look like after the transfer. Besides, sometimes I just want to take a look at it and don't want to convert it into pdf format. Is there any software that can be used directly?

After searching for a while, I found that there was a kind of green software called Boox Viewer, which could be viewed as dozens of kb in size, but many of them were on windows platforms. Although it could be simulated by wine, but I am too lazy to install wine again.

So I thought, maybe there is something in the UBUNTU source directly? Obviously, my wishful thinking is a little better, obviously not. After a while, I finally found out that Boox Viewer has a version for linux. I found a link and gave some introductions, but the download speed was not fast and the software size was 3 mb. I don't know why it was so big. It seems to be different from what I said on the Internet, it is estimated that the version for linux is so big. After the download, I found that there were executable files directly in it and the compilation was skipped.

The installation was successful, but there was no expected program interface when you typed the command. It was:./bash: command not found. According to the possible situations mentioned in README, the changes are made ~ /. Bash_profile, and then activate source to use it.

The interface of the program is quite simple, or even simple, and the support for Chinese file names does not seem to be good, but I have already satisfied it, so I have not looked for a solution. It feels okay to use it. The opening speed is still quite fast. The ratio may be incorrect, but you just need to adjust it and the image quality looks good.

Of course, if you don't want to run it on the terminal, you can add it to the Application menu. By the way, let's download it.
