The development Board is used for driver testing, debugging. Perform hardware simulation, debugging and testing.
The difference between different development boards is mainly in the way of burning embedded system
5.2 Installing the Serial debugging tool: Minicom
OK6410 Development Board can display the debug information of Linux driver output via serial communication
Minicom is to let PC and serial device communication, PC installation of the acceptance and transmission of serial data program, is the Linux version of serial management software.
Install, configure, and test minicom:
1. Check whether the current system supports USB to serial port
# Lsmod | Qrep usbserial
2. Installing minicom
# Apt-get Install minicom
3. Configure Minicom
#minicom –s into the Serial Port Setup menu item, configure the Minicom
4. Test minicom
#minicom
5.3 Burn Write Android system
OK6410 Development Board is installed by default is WinCE 6.0, in order to install Android, the first to uninstall WinCE6.0 off
WinCE to prevent bootloader from wiping out the wince application and marking the bootloader partition as a bad block, the "fake blocks" are restored when the board is replaced with an Android system. That is, start eboot erase Nandflash.
Eboot How to erase Nandflash:

A 2GB or 4GB SD card requiring FAT32 partition format, inserting the card reader and connecting the PC
2. Write Mmc.bin and Zimage-sd.bin to SD card
Run Sd_writer, OS type Select "Android" and select Mmc.bin and zimage-sd.bin files separately in select root and select Kernel. Click the Scan button, and then click the Program button to write the Mmmc.bin and Zimage-sd.bin files to the SD card.
3. Prepare to burn the android before writing
Copy the Android_fs.tar, Mmc.bin, and zimage files on the large SD card, and then set the start switch on the OK6410 board as shown in the following table
4. Start burning from SD card to write Android
Insert the SD card into the slot of the OK6410 Development Board and set the SD card to boot to open the Development Board.
5. Calibrate the screen
After installing Android, close the Development Board and restore the switch to the Nandflash boot state. Restart the Development Board and calibrate the screen.
5.4 Configuring Wired Networks
Method 1. Set the IP of the Development Board to 192.168.17.166, the subnet mask to 255.255.255.0, and the network management set to 192.168.17.254
#ifconfig eth0 192.168.17.150 netmask 255.255.255.0 uo
#route add default GW 192.168.17.254 dev eth0
If the settings are successful, use the following command to query the board's current IP configuration and router
#/system/busybox/sbin/ifconfig
#/system/busybox/sbin/route
The above settings only save the results in memory, and once the board restarts all settings will disappear.
Method 2. Open the LINUXRC file with the VI command, remove the previous #, and roll the IP, subnet mask, and network management directly to know, then save the LINUXRC file.
