Building a Java environment

Operating system: WIN10

Java version: 1.8.0_102

1. Download and install Java JDK (the JRE is placed in the sibling directory at installation)

Address: F:\Program Files\java Directory

2. Configure Environment variables

Environment variables, advanced system settings, properties, and right button for this computer

(i) New in system variables: variable name: Java_home variable value: F:\Program files\java\jdk1.8.0_102

(ii) New in system variables: variable name: CLASSPATH variable value:.; %java_home%\lib\dt.jar;%java_home%\lib\tools.jar;

(iii) in the system variable, edit text at the end of the path point edit:;%java_home%\bin;%java_home%\jre\bin;

(d) Win key +r

Enter CMD carriage return

Enter Javac carriage return

OK configuration complete
