Under the Windows platform developed accustomed to a variety of Ides, have to admit that the IDE to our development to bring convenience. So I hope to find a suitable IDE under the Linux platform. This reminds me that Eclipse has a cross-platform nature.

Then start building the environment.

1. First you need to download the package, because the operation of Eclipse requires the Java environment, need to go to the Oracle Web site download JDK

Http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/index.html

Download eclipse

http://www.eclipse.org/downloads/

2. Unzip to a custom path

Unzip command: Tar zxvf filename

Move command: MV dirname Pathname

3. Setting environment variables for JDK

I set the current user's

Vi/home/jerry/.bashrc

Last line Join

Java_home=/home/jerry/bin/jdk1.7.0_03

Path= $PATH: $JAVA _home/bin

Classpath= $CLASSPATH: $JAVA _home/lib

Export Java_home

Export PATH

Export CLASSPATH

Save exit: Wq

Oracle Company-given JDK installation guide: http://docs.oracle.com/javase/7/docs/webnotes/install/linux/linux-jdk.html#install-32

4. Setting up the Eclipse Runtime environment

vi/home/jerry/eclipse/eclipse.sh

Join

Java_home=/home/jerry/bin/jdk1.7.0_03

Path= $PATH: $JAVA _home/bin

Classpath= $CLASSPATH: $JAVA _home/lib

/home/jerry/bin/eclipse/eclipse

Save launch: Wq

Setup executable: sudo chmod a+x eclipse.sh

Gnome Menu Editor, new menu item.

After restarting the menu, select Eclipse to run.

The first run will require you to set up a working folder like Windows.

Eclipse can run the environment if needed under the terminal. Copy eclipse.sh to/usr/local/bin

5. The eclipse environment is now complete. You can create a new Java project.

6. Add C + + development

Eclipse Dev/C + + programs need to mate with plugin CDT

http://www.eclipse.org/cdt/downloads.php

After the download is complete, the Eclipse menu selects install new software

Name:cdt

Location: Can be filled in Http://download.eclipse.org/tools/cdt/releases/indigo, this way installation speed is slow, using the local installation, archive to just download the CDT plugin path.
