How to Use pqpartition (graphic) [System Disk resizing reference section 2]

 

 

 

 

 

After buying a computer, many people have used it for a long time to find that hard disk partitions are unreasonable. Especially when they are running a computer, they are generally divided into four partitions,

In this case, the system disk is usually too large, while the disk for loading movies is relatively small. So how to DIY without damaging the original data?

Partition size to make it more suitable for you? I read a lot of online introductions and thought there were a lot of introductions, but they were not detailed enough.

This article describes how to use PQ to adjust the size of Hard Disk Partitions. This is my own experience. If you have any mistakes, please let us know:

PQ magician, the full name of partitionmagic, is generally divided into two types, one is integrated into the system disk, like tomato garden 3.0

This option is available in the boot screen of the system disk. The other option is directly installed under XP, and the adjustment ends.

Then it restarts the system and starts Windows to perform the adjustment operation. Next we will introduce PQ in windows,

Version 8.05. The PQ integrated in the system disk has the same function as the PQ function in windows, but the interface is monotonous. It is similar to ghost.

 

The PQ interface is very friendly. The Chinese version is all in Chinese. On the right side of the interface, all disk paths of the hard disk are marked with the disk capacity and file system type. The left side is an executable operation. Because my current computer has three hard disks, Disk 1, Disk 2, and Disk 3 are displayed. Drive C: 7.32 GB, drive D: 14.6 GB, drive E: 51.8 GB,

1. The C drive remains unchanged. The E drive is reduced to 30 GB, and the space is reduced to the D Drive.

Before introducing the method, we should first describe the logical structure of the hard disk. The logic of a hard disk can be regarded as linear, just like the three adjacent shards C, D, and E. You want to divide e into one for D. This operation is relatively simple, because D and E are adjacent, just take out one of E to D.

 

, Yellow indicates the area where data is stored, and white indicates the area that is not used. We divide the space of the E disk into D, and actually divide the E part into D. In this way, the actual operation is to increase the area of D white and decrease the area of E white (it feels like all nonsense !) However, the disk has a special feature. If you want to give the unused area of the E disk to the D disk, you must append the white part of the E disk to the D disk. But we can see that the white part of the E disk is not attached to the D disk, so we need to adjust it! Right-click the Elastic Block Storage, and select "adjust capacity/move"

 

 

The dark purple red indicates the area where data is stored, and the light purple red indicates the area that is not used. Note that there is a small triangle on each side, and the black section is displayed when you drag the small triangle, the black part indicates the part that is detached from the disk! You can cut only the dark purple part at most! (Because black and purple represent the used part, and you can't take this part.) Place the mouse over the purple part, and the mouse will turn into a cross to drag the purple part. The black part can be exposed on the right or on the left! But the blank part of the d disk is on the left side of the E disk. Isn't the black part that we cut out right adjacent to the blank part of the d disk! So we need to put the black part on the left! The size of the part to be split is displayed in the "Before free space" section.

After you click OK, the disk logic chart changes as follows:

 

In this way, the part of the E disk is adjacent to the blank part of the d disk! Last step: Right-click disk D and select "adjust capacity/move". Drag the purple box to the full grid and merge it! Click OK and execute!

2. the disk remains unchanged. The Elastic Block Storage (e) disk is reduced and the reduced space is allocated to the C disk.

I think the E disk is too big. I want to cut it out and give it to drive C! The method is: Right-click the Elastic Block Storage and select "Adjust space" to expose the black part to the left. In this way, the black part is tied to the blank part of the d disk! Right-click disk D, select "Adjust space", place the mouse on the purple box, turn the mouse into a cross, and drag the purple part to the right. In this way, the black part is changed from the original right to the left! Click OK! The black part is tied to the white part of drive C. The last step is right-click drive C and select "Adjust space". Place the mouse over the triangle, drag the purple box to the right, and click OK!

We would like to remind you that adjusting the hard disk partition size does not theoretically damage the original data, but there is a risk in the adjustment operation. We suggest you back up important data in advance!
