Can C ++ return from the King?

@ Wu Qiong Adam

I personally think it is impossible! Because I cannot simply look at what C ++ has improved, what are the advantages? It depends on the environment and competitors!

I don't want to write this blog too long. I would like to raise some points for your reference:

1. Middleware strength:In the current world, the language has been sung, but must be compatible with middleware. Middleware is a general concept, including Vm, web, and app server. Java, C #, Ruby, and so on all have rich middleware support. In fact, the language and middleware have achieved a good separation of focus. The language focuses on abstraction and programming efficiency, while the middleware focuses on running efficiency. c ++ is basically singing a joke, and one person is playing the game. Therefore, the comparison chart below is not comprehensive and misleading!

2. Rise of Dynamic Language: Dynamic Language is a balance in the new era, and the CPU computing capability is getting stronger and stronger. The decision that must be made during compilation can now be pushed back to the runtime in an interpreted way, I think dynamic language will be the trend of the future, which will further increase programming flexibility and efficiency. (I am still thinking more deeply about this topic and a lot of content, in the future, let's talk about it );

3. industry status: Among the customers I consulted, C ++ has a small market share. In fact, most telecom devices are still using C, which is too slow! The enterprise IT market is dominated by Java and C #, and only some search engines like Baidu are using C ++ and some mobile phone software developers. According to Ericsson's attitude, more Java is being implemented, and enterprise it's returning to C ++ is simply a fantasy. As for mobile development, I think this is the most rapidly changing field, the speed of hardware changes in this field and the speed of software form changes will be very fast. Therefore, it is hard to say that in the future, my personal part is that mobile phones and PCs will gradually integrate, APP problems will be gradually exposed, and eventually return to the B/S form.

To sum up, it is true that C ++ still plays its value in some professional fields, but I don't think C ++ can come back, even if he was the former king. Therefore, according to the same judgment of Rayong Hao, if you are not proficient in C ++, it should never be the focus of your 2012 learning, there are many things to learn based on different industries. Learn a Dynamic Language, learn rest, osgi, learn HTML5, css3, and learn backbone. JS, node. JS, learn continuous delivery, learn automated testing tools!

There is something in an era. Everyone needs to keep pace with the times !!!

Note:

C ++ is used by C language enthusiasts. C language is the king of the embedded field;

For C ++ enthusiasts, I am not saying that C ++ is not good, but that C ++ will not be hot any more, do not reserve C ++ technology if you have time (unless your job is ready for use immediately )!
