Careful router, national Internet emergency center issued an alert
On October 18, March 28, the national Internet emergency response center published the "Overview of Internet network security situation in October 2013", showing:
Vro products of multiple vendors, such as D-LINK, Cisco, Linksys, Netgear, and Tenda, have backdoors. Hackers can directly control the vro and initiate DNS hijacking, information theft, phishing, and other attacks, directly threatening users' online transaction and Data Storage Security, turning related products into security "mines" that can be detonated at any time ". Taking some router products in D-LINK as an example, attackers can obtain full control of the router by using the backdoor. CNVD analysis found that the D-LINK router affected by the backdoor has at least 12 thousand IP addresses on the Internet, it affects a large number of users. CNVD promptly reported threats to relevant vendors and issued warning information to the public. However, as of the end of January 2014, some vendors had not yet provided security solutions or upgraded patches. Vrouters and other network devices are often invisible as public egress of the network. However, their security not only affects the normal operation of the network, but also may cause leakage of enterprise and personal information.
Today, dozens or even dozens of Wi-Fi signals can be scanned anywhere. The wireless router that sends this information is the level of all the Internet traffic of the host. Once the failure occurs, it means that all the operations on the Internet by the host are viewed by intruders. Weibo, and bank accounts may all be logged in to any operation.
In addition to increasing the manufacturer's emphasis on route product security, common users should also take preventive measures. For example, you can select a password consisting of more than 10 digits and letters to increase the difficulty of hacker cracking. You often log on to the vro management background to check whether devices you don't know are connected to WIFI; it is best to enable the MAC (each wireless network card has a unique address consisting of six hexadecimal numbers) filter function, only allow access to their own mobile devices.
