Cent os6.3 install eclipse 3.7

(1) download
Eclipse-jee-indigo-SR2-linux-gtk.tar.gz

(2) Move the file to/usr/local: sudo MV eclipse-jee-indigo-SR2-linux-gtk.tar.gz/usr/local

(3) Go to the/usr/local directory and decompress sudo tar-zvxf.

(4) create a desktop shortcut

In the blank area of the desktop, right-click it and select "create initiator" in the pop-up dialog box. In the "Create initiator" dialog box, select "application" as the type and enter the name: Eclipse, run the following command to select the eclipse Startup Program (for example,/usr/local/Eclipse/eclipse). Double-click the icon on the upper left side to bring up a dialog box for selecting the icon, find the eclipse installation directory and find the icon in the directory. XPM, select open, and click OK.
