1. Uninstall the git1.7.1 that comes with CentOS: 
Yum Remove git

　　

2. Installation Dependent environment:

Yum install curl-devel expat-devel gettext-devel openssl-devel zlib-devel asciidocyum Install gcc Perl-extutils-makemakeryum-y Install Xmlto

　　

3. Download the git2.2.1 and add git to the environment variable 
wget Https://github.com/git/git/archive/v2.2.1.tar.gztar ZXVF v2.2.1.tar.gz
CD git-2.2.1
Make Configure
./configure--prefix=/usr/local/git--with-iconv=/usr/local/libiconvmake all Docmake install Install-doc Install-htmlecho "Export path= $PATH:/usr/local/git/bin" >>/ETC/BASHRCSOURCE/ETC/BASHRC

4. Complete the installation

Git--versiongit version 2.2.1
