CENTOS6 Installing eclipse

1. Download Eclipse

I downloaded the eclipse-jee-juno-sr2-linux-gtk-x86_64.tar.gz.

can be downloaded at http://www.eclipse.org/downloads/

2. Win7 incoming CentOS

3. Extracting Files

Go to Tool Catalog

Perform

TAR-ZXVF eclipse-jee-juno-sr2-linux-gtk-x86_64.tar.gz Command

Upon completion

4. Move the file (optional)

Move eclipse to the desired directory/user

5. Set Desktop Shortcuts

Right-click on the desktop to display as

Click to enter the page

Click the Red section to find the Eclipse installation path and locate the

Fill in the shortcut name after name

Click Browser

Find the icon like Eclipse Launcher and click Open

Click OK

The Eclipse shortcut icon is displayed on the page

6. Start Eclipse

Clicking on the quick Picture will show the workspace where we chose Eclipse

Open successfully, such as

Setup and shortcut Setup complete

Note: If you see

Workaround: Enter the Eclipse directory to create a JRE directory under its directory to create a link to the JRE environment
