Centos7 open port and firewall settings.

View the Firewall Status:

firewall-cmd --state

If:

not running

Open the Firewall Service:

systemctl start firewalld.service

Permanently opentcpUnder the Protocol10000Port:

firewall-cmd --zone=public --add-port=10000/tcp --permanent

Restart Firewall:

systemctl restart firewalld.service

Reload the Firewall:

firewall-cmd --reload

View the opened ports and protocols:

firewall-cmd --zone=public --list-ports

Shown:

10000/tcp

Start the port service to facilitatewindownsLowertelnetCome here:

nc -lp 10000 &

Stop the Firewall Service:

systemctl stop firewalld.service

Stop the firewall permanently and the firewall will not be started upon startup:

systemctl disable firewalld.service
