Microsoft's Azure HDInsight has been used in the big data field. Currently, clusters can only be deployed on Windows systems in China. Although the creation process is simple, for developers, it is a black box, and it has encountered a lot of trouble in the Process of more in-depth research and development and expansion. Therefore, you are prepared to manually build your own HDP2.4 cluster locally for research and learning. The first step is to create a virtual machine node Through VMWare, install the operating system, and select Centos7 through comparison.
Installation Process:
- Software Download
- Create a virtual machine
- Centos Configuration
DownloadSoftware Package:
- Virtual Machine Tool Software: VMware-workstation-full-12.0.1-3160714.exe
- Centos Installer: CentOS-7-x86_64-DVD-1511.iso
- Java installation: jdk-8u91-linux-x64.rpm
Note:
- HDP2.4 conflicts with the Chinese version of Centos7. Therefore, you must select the English version when installing Centos7.
Installation Process:
- Start VMware Workstation and select "Create a New reboot Machine" on the VM management interface"
- Select the OS image file by wizard (that is, the CentOS-7-x86_64-DVD-1511.iso file you downloaded to your local ),
- Click "Next" in the wizard and enter the Virtual Machine name and local storage path.
- Click "Next" in the Wizard. Enter the disk size allocated to the VM and select "Store virtual disk as a single file" (the folder will be clean)
- Click Next in the Wizard: Follow the default settings and click "finish" to go to the initialization and installation page. (When you move the mouse over the VM installation interface, you may not be able to find the mouse. Press Ctrl + Alt)
- After initialization, go to the Installation Wizard Page (note that you must select English as described above)
- Click "Continue" in the Wizard (click twice if one click fails :))
- Set Time and time zone (Asia, Hong Kong)
- "SoftWare Selection": For beginners who are used to Windows, you can choose Gonme Desktop (linux with Desktop version). I select the default Mininal Install
- Select a disk partition. If no attached disk is attached, click this option. On the displayed page, click "Done" twice in a row"
- The Installation configuration is complete. The "Begin Installation" button is available. Click Start Installation.
- During installation, click the "Root Password" icon on the interface, as shown in, to set a Password for the Root user.
- Click "User Creation". On the displayed page, create a new User and set the User administrator permissions.
- Wait a few minutes, the system installation is complete, and a prompt will be prompted to restart the machine
- On the VM management page, right-click the machine named hdp1 and choose Settings.... On the displayed page, select Bridged as the network connection mode, for example:

- After the restart, enter the user name and password to successfully enter the system, indicating that the installation is successful.
