1. Turn off MySQL service before uninstalling


Off way one, if the way one does not please use the way two,

[[email protected] ~]# systemctl status MySQL

[[email protected] ~]# systemctl stop MySQL

[[email protected] ~]# systemctl status MySQL


Closing Mode II



2, delete the old version of MySQL files and libraries

[[email protected] ~]# Find/-name MySQL

The last files and libraries found are deleted
