In (MirageSeries 8)MirageData Update and restoration in classic cases We have introduced Mirage The Management Terminal can restore data from the terminal. Download to describe how to use Mirage Disaster recovery. Disaster recovery is divided into two situations: one is that the program in the client operating system cannot run due to user modifications, because the client system crashes to be unable to run. Mirage There are different processing methods for these two situations:

·The program in the client operating system cannot be run due to user modification:

OThe mandatory push base layer and application layer apply to the fact that the client is assigned a base layer or application layer.

ORestore a terminal snapshot. It is applicable to scenarios where the client is not assigned a base layer or application layer.

·Client System Crash

OLocal disaster recovery, applicable to the absence of hardware damage.

OHardware migration, applicable to hardware corruption.

This blog introduces the first case.

I. Force push to the base layer and application layer

After the administrator wants to publish the application layer on the terminal, modifying the relevant file and registry value during use may cause program running errors. In most cases, the basic layer and application layer can be forcibly pushed to the terminal on the management interface. In this process, the basic layer and application layer data allocated to the terminal are forcibly pushed to the terminal, so that the terminal application can work again.

Push steps:

1.On the management interface, openInventory> All CVDs,InCVDRight-click and selectEnforceall Layers.

2.In the dialog box that appears, select push mode.

·Preserve user applications: Retain user data and programs installed by the user. If the program installed by the user can run on the terminal, you can select this option.

·Remove user applications: Delete user data and user-installed programs. If the program you have installed cannot run on the terminal, you can select this option.

3.Next, complete the wizard step by step. After the Wizard is complete,MirageCreates a job. You can view the job progress on the management interface:

During the push process, end users can continue to use the terminal. After the push data transmission is complete, the terminal is required to restart. It takes effect only after being restarted.

After the job is completed, the basic layer and application layer are forced to be pushed. You can use the program again on the terminal.

Ii. Restore terminal snapshots

If the Administrator does not assign the base layer and application layer to the terminalAnd the terminal system or program has a problem, which can be solved by restoring the terminal snapshot.

The procedure is as follows:

1.On the management interface, openInventory> All CVDs,InCVDRight-click and selectReversponsnapshot.

2.In the displayed dialog box, select a snapshot. There is an option on this pageRestore system only,This option is available only when you select to roll back to a snapshot of the same operating system. If this option is selected, the current user data of the terminal is retained in the archive. If this option is not selected, the terminal will be completely rolled to the selected snapshot status.

650) This. width = 650; "src =" http://s3.51cto.com/wyfs02/M02/45/32/wKioL1PkONfAqQUsAAzSuF-r5lU705.bmp "Title =" 5.bmp "alt =" wKioL1PkONfAqQUsAAzSuF-r5lU705.bmp "/>

3.Next, complete the wizard step by step. After the Wizard is complete,MirageCreates a job. You can view the job progress on the management interface:

During the restoration process, end users can continue to use the terminal. After the restoration snapshot data transmission is complete, the terminal is required to restart. The restart takes effect.

After the job is completed, the snapshot is restored successfully.
